Jacquelyn Dawes (Dozier)
Jacquelyn Dawes, age 86, of Cookeville passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 at Bethesda Health Care Center in Cookeville.

She was born in Brookside, Kentucky on Tuesday, May 20, 1930 to the late Cecil and Edith (Gross) Doizer.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother who loved taking care of everyone she knew. Her family was her life.

Jacquelyn is survived by:

1 Daughter and Son-in-law:
Sheila and Charlie Hayward of Ohio

2 Sons:
James Robert Dawes of Florida and Bernie Dawes of Bloomington Springs,

4 Grandchildren: Tony( Kesley), Tracy (Jeremy) , Jim, and Cody

6 Great Grandchildren: Logan, Julia, Ciara, Jordan, Marissa, and Cain,

1 Brother:
Silas Doizer of Ohio

2 Sisters: Wanda Crider of Ohio and Glenna Byers of Kentucky

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her Husband: Burnice "Bernie" Dawes, 1 Sister, Bernice Pridemore and 3 Brothers, Cecil Jr., Roy, and Glennis.

Funeral services for Jacquelyn will be held Saturday, February 18, 2017 beginning at 1:00 pm from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home. interment will follow in the Davidson Chapel Cemetery in Jackson County.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday, February 17, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
