Samuel "Blue" Darty
Samuel Anthony Darty, better known as "Blue" age 58 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Monday, November 13, 2017, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Blue was born Monday, February 9, 1959 in Cookeville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Lovenia Darty.

He was a loving Husband, Father, Papa, and Brother. He was an avid poker player, loved coaching little league football, enjoyed fishing, bingo, loved to ride his Motor Cycle ,and was a die hard Dallas Cowboys fan as well as his Mother-in-Laws favorite Son-in-law. He was an active member to the children in the community and a true soldier to everyone that knew him. He was a mans man, and a Superman to his son. In the game of Domino's he considered himself to be the Domonologist.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years with a love that only they understood:

A host of Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews.

Funeral Services for Blue will be held Sunday, November 19, 2017 beginning at 2:00 pm at McClellan Avenue Church of Christ with Reverend Robert Utley officiating.

The family will receive friends at the church Saturday, November 18 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm, and again Sunday, November 19 from 1:00 pm until time of service at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to help with final expenses.
