Obituary for Robert "Bob" "Pinhead" Glanton Jr.
Robert "Bob" "Pinhead" Dennis Glanton Jr, 59, of Crossville, Tennessee passed away December 1, 2017.
Robert was born in Riverdale, Maryland July 14, 1958, he is the son of Robert Glanton Sr and the late Charolette Glanton. In 1976, he enlisted in The United States Army and served 3 years as a PFC Ind Fire Infantryman in Czechoslovakia, Greece, Switzerland and most of his time was served in Germany. While enlisted he received his hand grenade expert and M-16 rifle expert badges before being Honorably Discharged in 1979.
Robert worked as a Master Carpenter for Housing Partners Inc. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed all things outdoors. He dedicated his life to his family and took great pride in his work.
Robert is survived by his father Robert Glanton Sr, wife Carol Glanton, son and daughter in law Kevin and Jessica Glanton, grandson's Ethan Glanton and Peyton Hale, granddaughter's Mia Glanton and Kaitlyn Hale, sister and brother in law Carol Glanton-Wing and Kenny Wing and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Robert was preceded in death by his son Michael David Glanton, mother Charolette Glanton, Sister Sandra Glanton-Pannell, Grandmother Margarette Musser, and Grandparents Michael and Ester Glanton.
A small gathering of friends and family to honor Robert will be held Saturday December 16th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at his residence.
