Obituary for Glen DeWitt
Glen Dean DeWitt, 90 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Wednesday, December 6, 2017, at his home.
Glen was born Thursday, June 30, 1927 in Commerce, Oklahoma, he was the son of the late Iva Beulah (Pearson) and William DeWitt.
Glen served our country in the United States Navy for 20 years and retired as a Chief Petty Officer. He was a fine husband and father. Glen could often times be found telling great stories about his time spent in the Navy.

Wife of 63 years: Marjorie (Crowell) DeWitt of Cookeville, Tennessee
3 Children: Robert and Sharon DeWitt of Chicago, Illinois
Karen DeWitt of Wichita Falls, Texas
Suzanne and Tim Ghianni of Nashville, Tennessee
3 Grandchildren: Amanda and Benjamin Anderson of Cassville, Missouri
Emily and Jacob Martinez of Crestline, California
Joseph Ghianni of Nashville, Tennessee
2 Great-Grandchildren: Jacob and Jordan Anderson of Cassville, Missouri
2 Brothers: George and Navonda DeWitt of Stuart, Florida
Jack and Janet DeWitt of Shawnee, Oklahoma
In addition to his parents, Glen was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers, Robert DeWitt and John DeWitt and Sister, Rowena Ogden.
Funeral Services for Glen Dean DeWitt will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bros. Charlie Hutchinson and Bill Stone officiating with full military honors. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation with the family will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
