Jeanne Granato (Hanauer)
Jeanne Marie Granato, 81 of Cookeville, Tennessee and formerly of Tampa, Florida passed from this life on Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at her home.
Jeanne born Monday, June 15, 1936 in Dayton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Alice (Frawley) and Phillip Hanauer.
Jeanne was a loving daughter, wife, mom, and grandma. She loved to crochet hats, scarves, and blankets for all of her family members. Jeanne was known for her Pecan tarts. She was a member of the Christopher Columbus Club of Dayton, Ohio.
Jeanne is survived by:
Husband of 60 years: Nick Samuel Granato, Jr.
5 Children: Nick Granato III and Leanna Janiels, Phillip and Judi Granato, Tony and Merry Granato, Kathy and Chris Murphy, and Maria and David Wright.
12 Grandchildren: Nick Granato IV, Andrew Granato, Abby Granato, Jordan Granato, Jeremy Evans, Jared Evans, Katherine Granato, David Murphy, Sarah Murphy, Christie Miller, David Wright, and Gracie Wright.
6 Great-Grandchildren: Nick Granato V, Riley Granato, Laney Granato, Sadie Granato, Elaina Granato, and Jaxon Evans.
3 Sisters: Rita Kohler, Kathie and Doyle Smith, and Chris and Gerry Landis
Brother-In-Law: Ken Sanford
A host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Jeanne was preceded in death by: Sister, Sally Sanford and Brother-in-law, Dick Kohler.
Jeanne chose cremation, the family followed her wishes and a Celebration of her Life will be held at a later date in Dayton, Ohio.
