David Albert Salmon, 75, of Monroe, Tennessee passed from this earthly home to be with his heavenly Father the evening of February 1, 2019, at Pickett County Care & Rehabilitation Center in Byrdstown, Tennessee.

David was born to the late William E. Salmon and Betty (Gillian) Salmon Miller on November 20, 1943, in Owensboro, Kentucky. He retired from Averitt Trucking Company. He lived his retirement life enjoying the wonders of nature and the beautiful Dale Hollow Lake with his beloved friends and he was the supreme Buckeye fan. David was blessed with devoted friends and neighbors at his lakeside home.
David is survived by his daughter, Pamela (Salmon) Rhymer, son Scott and Michelle Salmon and Sister, Connie and William Humphries. David took great pride in his 5 grandchildren, Eric Salmon, Ryan Rhymer, Brittany Smiley, Michael Salmon, and Jake Salmon. He was also blessed with 5 Great Grandchildren. David was also survived by half-brothers, Mike and Jennifer Salmon, Lew and Heather Salmon, Gary and Cathy Miller and half-sister Karen and Charlie Donegan.
David is also survived by his fiance' Katheryn Shive and his faithful constant companion Zoey, whom he adopted from the animal rescue. He enjoyed watching Kathy's 3 grandsons play ball about as much as watching the Buckeyes.
He leaves many nieces, nephews, neighbors, and friends that will feel a void left by his absence.
In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by Daughter, Cheryl Ann Salmon.
David chose cremation and the family followed his wishes and a Celebration of his Life will be held during Memorial Day weekend at his beloved Dale Hollow Lake.
