He opened a floor covering business serving large malls, homeowners, and businesses. A flood destroyed his inventory - closing, he accepted a position with Electrolux Knoxville meeting his best friend Brian Carraway whom taught him how to make a good living and have fun too. He later transferred to Cookeville store manager worked for many years until company buyouts. Jack joined Stovers Wholesale producing record sales in hardwood and tile. He loved sales; building their confidence and friendships. Abe McCall offered him a position in Carthage over the floor covering and eventually the gun store, had special friends Cindy and Bobby. He worked 18 years and retired 2014. His hobbies include guns, home improvement projects, landscaping, and yard work. He took pride in his Cub Cadet tractor and would mow for hours. My condolences to all the family and friends.
Jack and I grew up being friends at Mt View Church of God and Everett High School.
Thanks to the family for posting Jackie's photo to his obituary. That meant a lot to me.
It reminded me of all the good times we experienced growing up as neighbors.
Respectfully yours,
