Reba Maxine (Dale) Smith Gaw, 88 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life on Monday, April 29, 2019, at her home.

Reba was born Wednesday, June 11, 1930, in Livingston, Tennessee and she was the daughter of the late Ance Mitchell and Ila Mae (Smith) Dale.

Reba was a loving Daughter, Sister, Wife, Mama, and Granny. She worked outside the home at Fleetguard for about 30 years where she was an inspector. Reba was extremely gifted and would be known to tackle anything someone needed to be done. She was a wonderful seamstress and she even helped build a house. She loved working outside, especially with her flowers. Reba was a faithful Christian all of her life and was baptized at a young age.

Reba is survived by:

3 Children: Betty and Bob Davidson
Ronald and Beverly Smith
Donald and Melissa Gaw

12 Grandchildren

17 Great-Grandchildren

Brother: Bobby and Ruth Dale

Sister In Law: Alberta Dale

In addition to her parents, Reba was preceded in death by First husband, Odus Maccum Smith; Son, Michael Ray Smith; Second husband, Dale Gaw; and Brother, Earl Ray Dale.

Funeral Services for Reba Maxine (Dale) Smith Gaw will be held Saturday, May 4, 2019, at 11:00 am from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home with Bro. Johnny Fox officiating. Interment will follow in the Crest Lawn Memorial Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Friday, May 3, 2019, and Saturday, May 4, 2019, from 10:00 until time of service at Crest Lawn Funeral Home.
